We have come a long way, and have an even longer way to go.
Movement from the religious-based paradigms of the Dark Ages to the rational and scientific paradigms of the Renaissance was made possible by the human mental body, as it confronted how mystical world-views of the Dark Ages distorted our perception of both inner and outer universes of perception. That the majority of human beings in earth still cling to many of these outworn collectivistic and childish fairy tales created in a pre-egoic phase of human consciousness evolution, is a grim reflection of how slowly our species adapts to fundamental shifts in world-view.
Even the contribution by Prince Siddhartha, as partially carried forward by what is known as Buddhism, although a hugely more sophisticated way of looking at human consciousness than the western bedtime stories of Christianity and Muhammedism, was itself part of this collectivistic pre-egoic phase of human evolution. It simply went beyond making a sinful ego the cause of all suffering as did the religions of the West, and instead saw human suffering as caused by the clinging to an ego that actually does not actually exist except as an artifact created when human attempts to look at itself.
But like other paradigms that arose before the Renaissance, Buddhism is just as outworn as its western religious cousins, arising out of the world-views of Hindu mysticism that has always seen the individual as less intrinsic to the human condition than overall group identity. India only now begins to pull itself out of collectivistic and stultifying family-based religious and cultural traditional distortions and into more adult individual-based frameworks, but now has nothing new to offer spiritually because of its traditional marginalization of individualized consciousness. Although some aspects of Zen have some meaningful things to say about the human condition, Buddhism's too-narrow view of consciousness and its transcendental dishonorment of dualistic egoic domains, precludes it as a real solution path for human beings struggling to make honest sense of who, what, and why they are.
As such, the mental body of human beings lifted us out of ignorance and childish religious views of collectivistic forms of human life and brought us into a more individual-based egoic stage of human consciousness evolution, as was intended by our Maker. In this way, the emergence of the individual human mental body out of the morass of group identity and collectivistic-based consciousness forms of east and west brought about a true paradigm shift, the results of which echo into out present day lives, accounting for all the incredible advancements in science, medicine, technology, and civilization as a whole, our species has attained in the last 500 years.
But this mental body-based paradigmatic shift has now reached its limit of application for the human race, in much the same way the religious and mystical Dark Ages it replaced reached its own limit at the time. Mental body-based primacy in all domains of human life has now dead-ended in our species, reaching consciousness ceilings that serve to blind us to the true solutions of our challenges confronting us as individuals and as a species. The advancements made possible by the mental body in this egoic age have thus come with heavy prices our species is now struggling to pay, as we create mental body-based behavioral, philosophical, attitudinal, psychological, and pharmacological solutions to why and how human beings continue to be self-stagnative and self-destructive in our relationship with ourselves, with others, and with the earth that is mother to our species.
The time has come for a new Renaissance of consciousness based upon the Heart of the human emotional body, which heretofore has been invisible to pre-egoic religious and spiritual world-views, as well as more egoic mental-body based ways of looking at the self and the world, in much the same way a fishnet cannot capture water. Finally seeing, exploring, and healing the congested architecture of the human emotional body, which psychology cannot map, is far more primal to human consciousness that its younger sibling the mental body, and is the keystone to a new and fundamental paradigm shift that has incalculable repercussions to all the domains of human activity. Such a paradigm is now available to move us to finally complete our egoic phase of consciousness evolution, which mental body-based paradigms cannot, and move us to the meta-egoic phase of consciousness that now beckons us as individuals, as nations, and as a species.
The emotospiritual paradigm of Theohumanity is thus based on a new version of our sacred human selfhood and the true nature and goal of consciousness maturation in earth. As the psychoemotionally-applied aspect of Theohumanity, EBE, or Emotional Body Enlightenment practice, redefines the criteria for both emotional and spiritual maturity, based in the ground that only when the individual self is fully inhabited in an emotionally mature manner can it ever legitimately 'let go' into That Which is prior to dualistic life in both Sagely and Saintly ways. Buddhism's failure to appreciate this in its misbegotten attempt to transcend the individualized consciousness focus by defining such as an illusion lies at the heart of its inability to integrate access to the Nondual aspect of Divine Being in any spiritually mature manner.
Theohumanity thus challenges the egregious incompleteness of all other current psychological and therapeutic paradigms and alot of the world-views of both modern-day Buddhism and all pre-egoic collectivistic religions based in beliefs and scripture, neither of which has ever seen or been able to work in a healing manner with the human emotional body and its true architectural center-place of consciousness because of the mistaken primacy given to the mental body instead. It also challenges all forms of mental body-based philosophical, political, and scientific world-views that purport to lead us to solutions to global problems, but which in truth are actually at cause for the very global challenges they attempt to solve.
For Theohumanity, true consciousness maturation resulting in authentic emotional and spiritual maturity can only occur when we actually heal, and not transcend, three primary existential fears:
1) Being in the world, addressed in Personhood practice via the EBE process resulting in the enlightenment of the human emotional body.
2) Being not in the world, addressed in Sagehood practice via nondual Buddhistic radical self-inquiry and Avrassana meditation resulting in the enlightenment of the mental body.
3) Being not of the world, addressed in Sainthood practice via contemplation of silence, prayer, and the surrender of all life outcome in personal relatedness ground with a Maker-Creator, resulting in the enlightenment of the human etheric or chakral bodies.
By finally healing these three core existential grounds of fear, Theohumanity offers a means to embody the state of consciousness called Enheartenment, a newly defined state of the summit of human spiritual maturity that has been heretofore unattainable. In that sense, Theohumanity offers that the version of you that has been seeking all spiritual attainment has been the very thing that prevents true attainment of these states because that version of you is wounded in unconscious ways that are not experiencable using traditional or modern psychological and psychotherapeutic paradigms and interventions.
EBE, the means to attain enlightenment of the emotional body as the way to finally inhabit the expression of Divine Being we call individualized life, offers a universal architecture of human defenses that has resulted in the creation of your Strategic Self, who vowed never to let love and the magic of life in again because of how the heart never received what it really needed in childhood. EBE offers a map to negotiate lovingly with these defenses, rather than spiritually transcend them or psychologically break them down, so that your unmanifested Authentic Self can organically emerge as the you that you originally were meant to be in life.
Only an Authentic Self can then healthily explore the realms of true Sagehood and Sainthood consciousness, but not in the forms that have been taught for so many centuries. Theohumanity asserts that for 3,000 years the pursuit and attainment of enlightenment or salvation has been unconsciously motivated and distorted by the Strategic Self's inability to care for the parts of us wounded in childhood.
In that way, in Theohumanity's picture of Sagehood, Buddhistic Nondual enlightenment is actually about healing our existential fear of not existing, not transcending our suffering or illusory self. Without the emotional maturity accorded by a prior enlightenment of the human emotional body in which individualized life is seen as one of three legitimate avenues of Divine Being as expressed in the human condition, Nondual enlightenment is nothing more than a sophisticated drug used by our unconscious defense systems to deal with our suffering emotional bodies. One need only look at the paucity of real teaching, the lack of any heart-based connect with their students and devotees, the egocentric focus upon the person of the teacher who claims to have transcended ego, and the obvious immaturities in the personal lives of enlightened teachers to be able to see how their attainment has sealed in emotional wounding that continues to manifest in their private and public lives despite their enlightenment.
And in terms of Sainthood consciousness, only a Strategic version of self covering unhealed and wounded childhood would ever create a paradigm that justifies and extends unworthiness before God. An Authentic Self has a wholly different connection to the Maker-Creator, not as a medication to alleviate our wound-based shame or as a way to assure us a pleasant afterlife, but as an energetic abidement with the Living God that no longer neither requires belief or any middleman collectivistic organization, scripture, or religious authority as the means of relating to It.
One need only look at the greed, distortions, corruption, sexual misconduct, and countless versions of holy wars spawned by religions that claim to have connection with God to see how the metaphysics of all religious paradigms are in service of hidden emotional body wounding. This also includes the spirituality of past and present Saintly teachers who teach or otherwise embody universal love. Without a prior enlightenment of the individual emotional body, all forms of universal love will also be a temporary drug to alleviate personal woundings that can only heal with personal grounds of love, not universal.
Theohumanity is thus the first true paradigmatic shift of human consciousness in over 500 years and represents a true unification of traditional and modern eastern and western viewpoints, as it embraces and integrates them into a new whole while challenging the blind spots in their individual perspectives. In these ways, Theohumanity represents not just a way of the heart, but the Heart of the Way, a path to a self-validating and universally attainable criteria for the summit of our common destiny as we learn to consciously inhabit the magical Soul-arium of Love we call life in earth.
